Yes! We are breathing.. and blowing shapes in the most beautiful and enchanting material – glass. The pieces are made with great love and passion for the material, the curves and the edges. All of our glass is formed by hand and that is why you will find minor variations in their size and intensity of colour. We hope you like it.

Stenholt Glas/Stenholt Glass is situated in a beautiful old building which originates from the early 1900s in the centre of Aarhus. Here, glass artist Rikke Stenholt sells her unique pieces and smaller collections of homeware. In the workshop which is openly connected to the shop you can watch Rikke Stenholt working with the hot glass which Rikke occasionally combines with other materials such as bronze, copper, silver, gold, steel, leather, rubber and concrete. Rikke gets her inspiration from the nordic sky among other aspects of nature and her pieces are known for their wonderful representation of the nordic light. Rikke Stenholt has exhibited nationally as well as internationally. Furthermore, Rikke has decorated a hospital, several school buildings and numerous private companies. Rikke has also made pieces for a number of churches including a pulpit, a baptismal font, a baptismal jug, a lectern, a communion dish, chalices and an altarpiece. Gravestones and monuments have also been commissioned and have been cast in solid glass. At Glasmuseet/the Glass Museum in Ebeltoft, Rikke has neon pieces on display. These can also be viewed at other places around Europe.
Stenholt Glas har til huse i en smuk gammel 1900 tals bygning i det centrale Aarhus. Herfra sælger glaskunstner Rikke Stenholt sine unikaværker og mindre serier af brugsting. I værkstedet, der ligger i åben forbindelse med butikken, kan man følge Rikke Stenholts arbejde med det varme glas, som Rikke lejlighedsvis kombinerer med bronce, kobber, sølv, guld, stål skind, gummi og beton. Rikke inspireres bl.a. af den nordiske himmelhvælving, og hendes værker er kendte for at gengive det nordiske lys på smukkeste vis. Rikke Stenholt har udstillet såvel nationalt som internationalt. Rikke har endvidere udsmykket et hospital, flere skoler, gymnasier og private virksomheder – ligesom Rikke har udført værker for adskillige kirker. Prædikestol, døbefont, dåbskande, alterpult, paten, kalk, særkalke og altertavle. Gravsten og gravmonumenter er udført i samarbejde med kunder. Disse i støbt massivt glas. Kunstværker i neon har glaspusteren udstillet på Glasmuseet i Ebeltoft og neonværker af kunstneren er også at finde flere steder i Europa.
